Heres an interesting pdf on how you can use the wiimote, in conjunction with various different audio applications.

Applications include the use of gameboys, ableton and osculator to name a few.

Okotag

A rather interesting application, okotag is a barcode reader for your mobile phone.

What makes this application even better is its ability to synchronize with audio.

You can assign sounds to barcodes and – in theory. when the phone takes the picture. A code within the

barcode activates a sound, via wifi/3g. This is sent to and played on the phone via a piece of software you install

on your handset.

Nordic

The nordic sound art is a joint study program in collaboration with the royal danish academy of fine art.

The site doesn’t go into too much detail, but its clear from the site that the academy looks at the more abstract, artistic side

of audio.

What is clear however. Is the fact that this is a dedicated institute for audio, which is great.

Sound Arts is a recording studio that focuses on producing works for corporate, advertising and education establishments.

They also give qualified instruction/training for the many industry compliant and popular audio software

SanFran MusicTech Summit

Focusing on combining music and tech, Business and enterprise. The summit will focus on all thing audio related.
